The most childfriendly campsite of "Schouwen"

Camping Ginsterveld is a family camping site situated right in the heart of the Kop van Schouwen nature resort and only 2 kilometres from the beach. Fifty years ago, the first campers discovered the former orchard still without any facilities. Their positive holiday experiences and enthusiasm formed the inspiration for our current five-star family-run business with excellent facilities.

Whether you visit us to relax, to enjoy the modern conveniences, for the children, the beach or for an active holiday, it can all be done here.

In order to guarantee your peace, dogs are not allowed. Only families can book reservations (rather than youngsters), while a maximum of three families are placed together at any one time.

Children will have an excellent time in one of the many playgrounds or in our indoor swimming pool which includes a learners’ pool and a full-size pool with current accelerator and 40-metre slide. In addition, during the high season, Easter, Ascension and Whitsuntide, we offer an extended recreational programme for children under 12. When the children want to play outside when the weather is poor, our indoor water and sand play area offers the solution.
