Nature and the Environment

We try to help protect the environment responsibly. We aim to work as environmentally friendly as possible. We show how below.

The Green Key is the mark of approval for environmentally friendly recreation businesses. You have to meet certain environmental requirements to qualify for bronze, silver or gold level. Jutberg is inspected for different requirements each year.

• Environmental street: sorted waste, to be divided between: 
  - Miscellaneous waste container 
  - Paper container 
  - Glass container 
   - Battery box
• Low-energy light bulbs: we try to use low-energy light bulbs where at all possible.
• Saving water: in our sanitary buildings, we have water-saving shower heads and taps.
• Solar energy: Our swimming pool and one of the sanitary buildings are heated partly by solar energy panels.
• Cleaning agents: we use environmentally-friendly cleaning agents.
• Recreation: The glue we use for handicrafts is environmentally friendly. We also organise nature activities with the Woudlooper to help you and your children become more aware of the nature around us.
