Natural environment
De Jutberg holiday village lies in the ancient forests of the Zuidoost Veluwezoom. Around the campsite are the Onzalige Bossen [the Wretched Woods], the Zeven Heuvelen [the Seven Hills], the Imbosch and, of course, the Posbank dating from the Ice Age. A beautiful area to spend your free time or to start off a walking or cycling tour. And the romantic IJssel river and the varied landscape around the Apeldoorns/Dierens Canal are within easy reach.
The area around Jutberg lends itself to all kinds of excursions. You can make a visit to the Hanseatic cities of Zutphen and Doesburg, for instance, or take the little ferry to the smallest town in the Netherlands, Bronckhorst, with its Charles Dickens Museum. Or visit an animal park like Apenheul, Burgers' Zoo or Ouwehands, all in the vicinity.
