Natuurmuseum Holterberg
On holiday or having a day off? Is the weather either good or bad? There is always something to do at Nature museum Holterberg, beautifully situated in the middle of National Park the Sallandse Heuvelrug. The nature museum is unique, as full-scale dioramas make you feel like you're surrounded by nature. From prehistory to the Swiss Alps and from the Wadden to the grouse on the Sallandse Heuvelrug.
Furthermore, a large collection with as many as 1,000 animals show you nature from up close. For our younger guests there are many activities, including new exciting scavenger hunts in the museum and when the weather is good, you can go on an investigation in the Daantje Das forest. Playing and romp in the forest, while searching for hidden animals and solving nature-themed assignments.
If you wish to visit the museum as a group, then a guided tour is certainly recommended!
