General
- Are you allowed to set off fireworks at the park?
Fireworks are not allowed at the park, Holiday Park De Kuilart is a fireworks-free park. Note: the adjacent villa park is not part of the park. It is therefore possible that fireworks are set off here. Private villa 19 is located on this adjacent villa park.
- Are barbecues allowed on the park?
Barbecuing is allowed, but open fires are prohibited. You need to bring your own barbecue or rent one somewhere, this is not possible at De Kuilart.
- Are pets allowed?
One dog is allowed per pitch or berth for an additional fee. In some accommodation a pet is also allowed, check the accommodation on our website and find out in which accommodation your dog is also welcome.
- Is there internet at the park?
Yes, there is a Wi-Fi connection by KPN Hotspots throughout the park. Per accommodation, there is free Wi-Fi for the maximum number of people that can stay in the accommodation. Per camping pitch, you get two free codes for two devices for the entire period. Extra codes can be purchased at reception. Grand Café It Skippershûs has its own free hotspot, for which no code is needed.

- Can I see which accommodations are still available?
Via the online search and book system you can click on "booking on groundplan" at the right side of the page. This will then show all available accommodations of the type you have selected.- What are the changeover days?
Changeover days for accommodation are Mondays and Fridays. You can book per week, weekend or midweek. Please note that during the summer holidays it is only possible to book from Friday to Friday.- What are the arrival and departure times?

Check-in: You can check-in from 16:00 onwards. The reception is open until 18:00 in the season and until 17:00 in the off-season. If you arrive later than 17:00 or 18:00, please contact reception.
Check out: You have to check out before 10:00. This is also possible the evening before, we kindly ask you to put the key in the keybox (at the front door of the reception on the right side under the intercom).

You can log in to My Kuilart with your email address and a password of your choice. Through My Kuilart you can adjust your data (such as license plate), view all reservation data and pay any outstanding amounts easily via iDEAL.
- I have booked; when do I pay for my stay?
After booking your stay at De Kuilart you will receive a reservation confirmation. This indicates the total price of the reservation and the exact payment terms. You can easily pay via iDEAL via the My Kuilart.
Camping
- Is it possible to put up a small tent?
On the special hikers' field near the entrance of the harbour you can put up small two person tents. However, you must report this to the harbour master or reception. You will then receive a receipt or a sticker.- Can young people also come to camp?
Children up to the age of 25 are only allowed when accompanied by their parents and/or guardians.- Do guests also get a swimming pool pass?
Yes, guests will also receive a swimming pool pass if they have registered at reception and paid for the overnight stay.- As a guest, may we receive guests?
Yes, of course guests are welcome. If you have a guest, please inform the reception of this. For guests you pay an overnight rate and possibly € 5,00 (per day) parking fee for the car (on the car park near the reception). This parking fee can be paid by card at the pay machine next to the barrier after visiting.- As a guest of the park, may we receive day visitors?
Yes, day visitors are welcome, you don't have to report this at the reception. There is no extra charge for day visitors. Only parking (on the car park near the reception) is charged (€ 5.00 per day). The parking ticket can be paid after the visit with the pin at the pay machine next to the barrier.- How does the shower system work?
Our showers work with a SEP card system. For tourist reservations, you will receive shower cards at reception. These include 5 shower minutes per day. Should you run out of time before your stay, you can recharge your SEP card with money. This can be done with cash in toilet buildings 1, 2 and 3 or with a debit card at the marina pay machine (at the swimming pool) or at reception. Do you have any credit left? Unfortunately we cannot give this back. On departure we would like to receive the cards back, this can be handed in at reception, or you can throw them in the red letterbox at reception.
Passers-by, packages, seasonal and annual pitches: SEP cards can be purchased with €5.00 credit at the marina pay machine (by the swimming pool), at reception or from the harbour master. Recharging the cards can be done with cash in toilet buildings 1, 2 and 3 or with a debit card at the marina pay machine or the reception. The remaining balance will not be refunded, but we ask you to return the empty card to reception.
- Is a party tent allowed?
Only grey party dome tents are allowed, for example the Coleman or the Bo-Garden.
- How many additional tents are allowed?
A maximum of two small additional tents are allowed, as long as they fit on the pitch. There is no extra charge for this. You do pay for extra people.
- Can I park my car on the pitch?
Our pitches are completely car-free, cars can be parked on the designated parking spaces.
Other
- Is there electricity and water on the piers?
Electricity and water supplies are available on most of the jetties. You can use this by means of a SEP card, which allows you to charge 2 kWh or 100 litres of water at a time. You can ask for the rates at reception. For electricity, 1 kWh is valid for 24 hours and the second for the next 24 hours.- Can I also use the swimming pool as a passer-by in the marina?
Sure, passers-by can buy a day pass at reception so they too can enter and exit the pool several times a day. This is in high season (Ascension/Pentecost and summer holidays) only on presentation of proof of payment for your overnight stay.- Should we pay a deposit when renting a boat?
You do not have to pay a deposit, but you must fill in a rental contract with an excess of € 500, -. This is only used in case of missing inventory or actual damage. On departure without missing inventory or damage to the boat, the authorisation will be destroyed.- Can we sail on the IJsselmeer with the rental boat?
No, it is not allowed to go on the IJsselmeer with boats of De Kuilart.- From what age can I rent a boat?
You can rent a boat from the Kuilart from the age of 25.- Do I need a licence to rent a boot?
You do not need a licence for our rental boats.
Facilities & Opening Hours
- What is the entrance fee to the swimming pool?
Tickets for the swimming pool are € 12.50 per person (children under 1 year free) and are available at the reception.- Guests staying in accommodation or at the campsite during a short stay have free access to the swimming pool.
- Annual and seasonal guests at the campsite pay € 12.50 per ticket per season/year.
- Permanent berth holders in the marina pay € 12.50 per ticket per year.
- Passers-by in the marina can buy a day ticket for the swimming pool at the reception for € 12.50 per person per day upon presentation of the berthing fee receipt.
- I am not a guest in the park, can I use the swimming pool?
Of course, you are also welcome in our swimming pool if you are not staying with us at the park. This is possible in low season, in high season (Ascension, Whitsun and the summer holidays) the pool is only open to park guests. In addition, there may also be times when the pool is only open to park guests, at our opening hours you will see this displayed.- Is there also lane swimming?
In the morning there is the possibility for lane swimming. This is possible from the age of 18.
This is shown in the opening hours at the door of the swimming pool.- Are there lockers in the pool?
Yes, the pool has lockers. These work with a code that you can choose yourself when you want to use the locker.- Are there facilities for babies and disabled people at the swimming pool?
Yes, there is a disabled toilet with a changing table.- What slides does the swimming pool have?
The swimming pool has no less than three slides. Among others the "IJsvogel", a speed (with speedometer), and the "Zeearend", a cone-shaped slide where you will have a unique slide experience! And in the water playground there is another slide for the little daredevils!- Do guests also get a swimming pool pass?
Yes, guests will also receive a swimming pool pass if they have registered at reception and paid for the overnight stay.- Where do the activities of the activity programme take place?
Under the heading activity programme, you will discover what you can do at De Kuilart! Under each activity you can see where the activity takes place.
- What does the children's activity programme entail?
Activities are aimed at children from 3 to about 12-14 years old. In the morning there can be crafts, in the afternoon and evening a sports and/or game activity is organised and at the end of the afternoon there is a children's theatre.
Holiday Park De Kuilart does not offer a large-scale entertainment programme focusing on large-scale activities such as musicals, big game shows, bingo and discos. Also, the park does not have its own place for the youth. The activity programme is only offered during the busiest weeks of the summer holidays and is aimed at children aged 3 to 12-14.
- Can I use the facilities if I have not yet checked in or have already checked out?
Yes, this is no problem at all. Please note that you will need the entrance tickets for the swimming pool. You can get these at reception. You can drive through the barrier and use the swimming pool the entire day of your arrival and departure. So you can fully enjoy your holiday!

You can enter the pitch from 13:00. You must leave the pitch before 12.00 noon.
Please note: have you booked a pitch with private sanitary facilities? The private sanitary facilities are available from 16:00. From this time you can pick up the key at reception.- Can I reach De Kuilart by public transport?
Yes, 1 kilometre away is bus stop De Galamadammen or come by train and get off at the train station Koudum-Molkwerum, 5 kilometres from De Kuilart. From there you can call a taxi for transport to De Kuilart.
Pitches
- Can I check out later?
This may be possible, you can ask at reception on the day of departure. Late check-out is only possible in low season and is possible until 3pm or 6pm. The costs for this can be enquired at reception.- Can I see which pitches are still available?
Through our online search and book system you can click on "booking on groundplan" at the right side of the page, this will show all available pitches.- Can I use the water connection on the pitch the whole year round?
No, there is water on the pitches only during the camping season. Out of season (after 31 October and before 1 April), the water on pitches is disconnected and you can use sanitary block 2 (near the port) to provide water.- What are the arrival and departure days?
In the high season the changeover days are Friday and Saturday. Outside these weeks we can deviate from that.- Is it possible to check out of my pitch later?
In some cases, this is possible. On the day of departure, you can ask reception whether this is possible (for a fee). Late check-out is unfortunately not possible in high season, but you can book an extra night on your pitch if it is available.
- Is cable TV connection available?
All comfort and super comfort pitches have a connection for digital TV.
