Campsite Cnossen Leekstermeer is located in Nietap, in the northernmost part of Drenthe, right on the shores of Lake Leekstermeer. Here, you’ll find yourself in the heart of the water-rich transitional zone between Drenthe, Friesland, and Groningen, with the De Onlanden nature reserve just around the corner. A marshy area with reed beds and hay meadows, it’s a true paradise for birds. From the 26-meter-high observation tower, you can spot unique grazers and marsh birds.
