About the location
Camping Diana Heide is located in Amen, a small ''esdorp'' in the heart of Drenthe, right in the middle of “De Drentsche Aa” National Park. This ancient stream valley landscape is considered the best-preserved in Western Europe, with winding streams, heathlands, forests, and centuries-old ''esdorpen''. The charming villages of Rolde and Grolloo are just a few minutes away, complete with dolmens, outdoor cafes, and cozy village squares. It’s a place where you can easily walk into the woods for a hike, hop on a bike to explore prehistoric burial mounds, or simply enjoy the peace and open spaces of the Drenthe countryside.
