Bulb fields round 't Noorder Sandt

Enjoying beautiful nature, space and quiet starts when you drive the lovely treelane at campsite 't Noorder Sandt. Over 40 years ago the land our family campsite is situated on was still used growing bulbs. Our grandparents planted thousands of small trees with the whole family and our first guests pioneered in the open landscape. Luckily nature and its inhabitants developped as the trees grew. Many animals live here: some years ago only birds alone were 80 different species.

 Our campsite sits in the middle of the bulb fields. Tulips, daffodils, hyacinths, during April and May everything blossoms and you'll be thrilled to bits. But also during the summertime and autumn there's lots to see, some farms grow bulbs flowering during the summertime.

Even greater fun are 'the Pluktuin' and ' the Floratuin Julianadorp' . Here you can pick your own flowers during spring. In autumn you can pick dahlias at 'the Floratuin' and admire many different species here. You can buy bulbs here too.
