About the location

Camping Zonneweelde is located in Nieuwvliet-Bad, about 800 metres from a beautiful sandy North Sea beach. This beach has carried the Blue Flag for years, an exclusive eco-label and international environmental award for a clean and safe beach. Within walking distance of the campsite are also the special nature reserves De Verdronken Zwarte Polder and Waterdunen, where you can learn all about the interplay between water and land: a unique combination of nature, recreation and tidal action, aimed at innovative coastal reinforcement. 

The park sits right on the coast, but is also close to other seaside resorts such as Breskens, Groede and Cadzand, and within reach of the historic cities of Sluis, Bruges and Ghent. There are also plenty of beautiful cycling and walking routes in the area. A place where beach, nature and Belgian city trips are all close together.
