Strandcamping De Zwinhoeve is located in Retranchement, on the border of Zeeuws-Vlaanderen and Belgium, directly behind the dunes and bordering the Het Zwin nature reserve. This unique tidal area between the Netherlands and Belgium is known for its salt marshes, dunes and rich birdlife, and is one of the most beautiful nature reserves in Zeeland. The wide North Sea beach of Cadzand-Bad is within walking distance, perfect for a day of sun, sea and sand. The Belgian town of Knokke and historic Bruges are within cycling distance, as is the charming fortified town of Sluis.
