Accommodations

Can I park my car at the accommodation?

At the bungalows and group accommodations, there is a temporary parking space next to the accommodation where you can park your car to load or unload upon arrival and departure. The general parking lot is 75 meters from the accommodation.

At the Twente Lodge, there is a parking space right next to the accommodation.

The Safari Tents on "De Vogelkers" are located on a car-free field. Next to this field is a parking area where you can park your car. Naturally, you are allowed to drive your car to the safari tents for loading and unloading.

At the safari tents on "De Appelgaard," 1 car can be parked next to the tent.

Is there bed linen present in the accommodation?

Yes, bed linen is a mandatory purchase. Bed linen includes a pillowcase, fitted sheet, and duvet cover. Naturally, pillows and duvets are also provided. 
If you have reserved a cot (crib), no bed linen is provided for it and you must bring this yourself. 

Please note! In the hiker's cabin, pillows, pillowcases, and fitted sheets are provided. You must bring a sleeping bag or blankets yourself. 
If desired, you can rent duvets and a duvet cover for €11.00 per set.

When will I receive my paid deposit back?

After your departure, we will refund the deposit within 14 days, provided the bungalow is left in accordance with our conditions and without defects.

Are pets allowed in a bungalow?

Pets are allowed in a few 4- and 5-person bungalows. Max. 1 pet per accommodation. A surcharge of €5.00 per night is charged for this.

The group accommodation de Kapshoeve, Twente Lodge, and the safari tents are pet-free.

Mag ik roken in een accommodatie?

Nee, al onze verhuuraccommodaties zijn rookvrij.

Which coffee machine is available?

In our rental accommodations a standard filter coffee machine is available.

The hiker's hut does not have a coffee maker.

Is there an oven or microwave in the accommodations?

The Kapshoeve and Twente Lodge have an oven and microwave.
Our bungalows have a microwave, in the safari tents there is no microwave or oven.

Is it possible to reserve children's furniture?

Yes, that is possible, the costs are € 4.95 each.
The group accommodation de Kapshoeve has standardly 1 child's bed (excl. sheets) and 1 child's chair.
The children's bungalows are standard equipped with a children's bed (excl. sheets), a children's chair and a children's box.

Can an extra bed be added in the bungalows?

An extra bed can be added in the bungalow type Kapschuur, Boerderij and group accommodation.
The bungalow type Schuur does not offer the possibility of adding an extra bed.

Reservations and Payments

Can I see which camping pitches or accommodations are still available?

By using Book on ground plan, you can see which camping pitches and rental accommodations are available for a specific period. The vacant spots are displayed in green. If you book an accommodation or camping pitch with a preference, a preference booking fee will be charged for this.

What are the payment terms?

We use the following payment terms:

  • The down payment (50% of the total amount) must be paid within 14 days of booking.
  • The remaining amount must be paid no later than 4 weeks before arrival.

If you book within 28 days before arrival, the full amount must be paid at once

Can I cancel my holiday?

If you wish to cancel your holiday, the RECRON cancellation conditions apply. These conditions determine which part of the travel sum will be charged upon cancellation, depending on the moment of cancellation. The Recron conditions can be viewed here. 

We advise taking out cancellation insurance. This can be done up to one week after making the reservation. Do you have cancellation insurance (or continuous cancellation insurance) and does the reason for cancellation fall within the coverage of that insurance? Then you can submit the cancellation costs to your insurer. They will then assess whether the costs will be reimbursed.

I have not yet received confirmation of my booking, what can I do?

If you have not yet received a confirmation, please first check if it has ended up in your spam or junk email folder. If that is not the case? Then feel free to contact us.
 

Can I indicate a preferred location?

Yes, you can indicate a preference for a specific camping spot or rental accommodation. We charge €15.00 preferential booking fee for this.

Camping

Op verschillende kampeervelden staat een speeltoestel. Op deze pagina hebben we een handig overzicht gemaakt, zodat je kunt zien welk speeltoestel op welk kampeerveld staat.

I have booked a camping pitch, can I book a late check-out?

If you would like to stay longer and the camping pitch is still available on your day of departure, you can book a late check-out for a fee. You can then stay until 7:00 PM. 

The cost is €15.00 during the low season and €25.00 during holiday periods. To book a late check-out, please visit our reception. 

Can I rent a refrigerator?

No, unfortunately, we do not have any refrigerators that you can rent.

Mag ik grondzeil gebruiken?

Het is toegestaan om in de voortent grondzeil te plaatsen. Wel heeft het onze uitdrukkelijke voorkeur om te kiezen voor grasdoorlatend materiaal. Als je voor de voortent nog een luifel plaatst, mag je hieronder geen materiaal plaatsen.

Are pets allowed?

The Kapshoeve, Twente Lodge and safari tents are pet-free.
In a limited number of bungalows pets are allowed. A surcharge applies. Do you want to be sure whether there is an accommodation where pets are allowed? Please contact us by mail or phone.

Are you coming camping? Then your pet may come along (max. 2 per site) for which there is a surcharge.

Is there water drainage at the pitches?

On the field 'de Eikenhof' and 'de Appelgaard' water drainage is available. These pitches can be booked as 'comfort pitch plus'.

Is it allowed to have a small tent next to the caravan?

One additional tent may be placed next to the caravan; there is no additional charge for this.
At the rental accommodations it is not allowed to place additional tents.

Is there CAI available?

We offer you the opportunity to use the CAI for free.
The signal is broadcast digitally in DVB-C. In order to receive these digital channels your TV must be equipped with a DVB-C tuner.

How many amps is there?

A comfort pitch has 6 amps (1320 watts) at its disposal. Some comfort pitches are equipped with 10 amps. A surcharge of € 1,00 per night is charged for this. Reservations for these places are required. The comfort pitches plus have 10 amps of electricity as standard.

Can a car be placed near the pitch or accommodation?

One car may be parked next to the pitches. With the exception of the field the Lijsterbes, the Lijsterbes is a car-free field. The Safari tents on the Vogelkers are on a car-free field, there is a parking lot next to the field. One car can be parked next to the safari tents at the Appelgaard.

At the bungalows and group accommodations there is a temporary parking lot next to the accommodation where you can park your car to unpack or pack upon arrival and departure. At 75 meters from the accommodation is the general parking lot.

Facilities & Opening Hours

Can I charge my electric car at the park?

Yes, that is possible. Near the Twente Lodge, there are 4 charging points where you can charge your electric car.

Is there a supermarket present at the park?

No, we do not have a park shop. At the reception, we sell the so-called 'forgotten groceries' such as coffee, tea, sugar, soft drinks, toilet paper, toothpaste, etc. In addition, you can order bread from Monday to Saturday. 

The nearest supermarkets are in the center of Tubbergen, 2 km from our park. Here you will find an Aldi and a Plus.

Are there bicycles for rent at the park?

You can rent bikes directly from Actief Twente. They will deliver these bikes to our park.
You can reserve a bike via this link. Reserve your bike at least 1 day in advance, before 12:00.

Is there WIFI at the park?

Yes, there is a wireless WIFI network at the park. You can make free use of this network at your pitch or accommodation. If it does not work to use this network, you can take a seat in the restaurant or at the reception where we have an extra (also free) network.

When is the recreation team present?

The recreation team is present in the May vacations, Ascension, Pentecost and 6 weeks in the summer vacations. Check the exact dates here.

Is the pool and water play area also open to visitors?

No, our swimming facilities are open only to guests staying at our recreation park.

What if I arrive later than the reception opening hours?

You can find the current opening hours here. If you are going to arrive later, we would appreciate it if you would give us a call or send us an email beforehand.

Arrival & Departure

What time should I check out for?

Camping pitches and hiker's huts: Before 11:00 a.m.
Safari tents and bungalows: Before 10.30 am.

From what time can I check in?

Camping pitches and hiker's huts: arrival from 14.00 hrs.
Safari tents and bungalows: arrival from 15.00 hrs.
