By Bus
R-net bus line 391 departs from Amsterdam Central Station every fifteen minutes to the Zaanse Schans stop. The journey takes around forty minutes. For more information, visit www.bus391.nl.
In July and August, R-net bus line 817 connects the Zaanse Schans with Volendam and Edam.
By Train
The nearest train station is Zaandijk – Zaanse Schans. You can reach this station from Amsterdam Central Station in 17 minutes by local train. From there, it is a 15-minute walk to the Zaanse Schans.
